Before You Jump In . . .

Complete this tutorial before you use a virtual reality headset for the first time so that you are aware of basic headset instructions, safety tips, and health warnings. You should understand that participation in virtual reality is at your own risk.

You are responsible for educating yourself about the potential health risks involved. If you have questions after completing this tutorial, please ask a staff member! We want you to have a great VR experience.

Why Safety?

Virtual reality is using technology to deliver sensory information to create a simulated, immersive environment. When you are using VR technology (wearing a headset), you are essentially blind to the real world around you which presents safety issues that must be taken into consideration. While you are using VR, you will not always be able to see the real, physical objects in the room.
